Join us for a screening of final year work from our BA (Hons) Digital Film Production and BA (Hons) Screenwriting students.

Kicking off this year’s Arts Degree Show on Wednesday 17 June 2026 is a screening of short films from the BA (Hons) Digital Film Production final year students at King Street Cinema, Ipswich.

Students on the BA (Hons) Digital Film Production course create a diverse body of work, ranging from avant-garde and experimental films to drama and documentary. Their projects showcase a wide variety of themes and subjects, developed from original scripts and a bold range of creative ideas.

Through the use of different styles and techniques — including striking composition, innovative editing, and documentary storytelling — students explore both contemporary issues and imaginative narratives. Their work often involves creative collaboration with actors, innovative use of locations, and meaningful engagement with local and international communities and businesses.

Doors will open at 6.00pm, with the screening starting at 6.30pm. Drinks and refreshments will be available at the venue.

After the screening, a showreel of these films will also be on display at the Â鶹´«Ã½ with the rest of the Arts Degree Show.
